The mining industry can offer many harsh conditions for mining equipment to operate in. As a result dump trucks and in particular dump truck cabins are often damaged by way of either corrosion or impact/collision. This damage may compromise the structural integrity of the ROPS frame and as such these cabins are rendered unusable.
QMW Industries are aware of the considerable costs and lead times for genuine replacement cabins and as such have implemented a program to refurbish and recertify the cabins back to “as new condition”.
CERTIFICATION
Relevant Australian and International standards allow for the repair of R.O.P.S structures and can be re-certified. This re-certification can only be done by either the manufacturer or by a person who is experienced with the design of R.O.P.S.
