New Leadwell V-60S machining centre on the floor

QMW has commissioned a new Leadwell V-60S vertical machining centre at the Acacia Ridge facility, expanding our in-house CNC machining capacity.

The V-60S joins our existing Leadwell machining centre and Okuma CNC lathe, so more of the machining that goes into a QMW build stays on our own floor, alongside the fabrication, welding, blast and paint, and the NATA-accredited test lab.

That is the whole point of one roof: when the engineer who modelled the part can walk to the machine that cuts it, quality stops being a hand-off and starts being a conversation. More machining capacity in-house means shorter lead times and tighter control over the parts that matter.
