Certified pipe welding is where QMW started in 1984. Today it is a 13,000 m² facility running CNC turning and vertical machining centres, press brakes to 500 tonnes and 20 overhead and jib cranes.

What we do
Capability
CNC forming and cutting
CNC press brakes to 500 tonnes, guillotines and folders, and a CNC plasma profile cutting bed.
CNC machining centre
CNC machining and milling centre, radial arm drills and automated band saws.
Certified welding
Welding to AS 1554 SP/FP, ASME IX, AS 1796 and ISO 8606, the pipe-welding discipline the company was founded on.
FARO CMM measurement
Coordinate measuring machine capability: dimensional verification to the drawing, documented.
Mobile welding trucks
On-site welding crews when the work can't come to us.
Heavy handling
Overhead cranes throughout the facility. Heavy fabrications move safely from bay to bay.
Finish in the same facility
Fully integrated sandblasting and an enclosed dry paint booth with mixing system (see blast and paint).
Every job runs through our turn-key project management database: one record from drawing to dispatch.
